Simply Thai Wine Menu

Many Thai food (and wine) lovers believe that wine and Thai dishes don't mix. So they resign themselves to having beer to go with their meal. It's another popular misconception that Simply Thai knows to be simply not true.

The "no wine with Thai" thinking comes from people choosing off-dry white wines with too much wood aging and fruity red wines. These types lack the right balance to accompany Thai food.

Simply Thai's selection of more than 200 different types from BC, Australia, California, Germany and France offers a range of wines that go perfectly with Thai dishes, including Alasatian, Pinot Gris and Gerwurtztraminer.

It's such a well-thought-out selection – and one that avoids the obvious choices -- that Simply Thai has annually won New York Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence since 2004. It's one of two Asian restaurants in Canada – and the only Thai restaurant -- to receive this prestigious award from one of the most respected wine authorities in the world.

So hold the beer. Ask your server what wine would go well with what you're ordering. Bon appétit!
